The President-elect of National Association of Kogi State Students (NAKOSS National), Comr Omeiza Moses Audu, (Troy) has distributed food stuffs and relief items to the less privileged people and Orphanage at Old Market area of Kabawa community in Lokoja.

The president-elect distributed the items on Wednesday in Lokoja as part of activities to mark his birthday celebration.
Troy told newsmen after the donation that he was extending his hand of love to the less privileged especially the destitute in the capital city, and to identify and associate with them to celebrate his birthday.
He added that he was reaching out to the needy and the poor as a way of appreciating and thanking God for the gift of life, saying, "it is God's commandment that we should give to the needy and the less privileged among us".

During the outreach, no fewer than 150 indigent and beggers along the road at old market were fed with meals, while food stuffs, clothings, toiletries and other relief materials were donated to the orphanage.
Speaking on behalf of the beneficiaries, the head of the destitute in lokoja, appreciated the gesture and offered prayers for the president, his administration and the government of the state.
At the orphanage, Mrs Victory, who received the items on behalf of the orphans, commended the president and his team for remembering, visiting and donating relief items to the fatherless children, and prayed that God would grant the celebrant his birthday wishes.
The head of the orphanage (Yekope International Christian ministries. Orphanage home, Adankolo newlayout, Lokoja), commended the effort of the president, noting that he had always been extending his hand of love to the orphans even before he emerged as the president.
"The president is a man with a good heart, and I am calling on all Nakossites to support his administration in order to take nakoss to a greater hight", she said.
Dignitaries in attendance were: Hon Sani Ogu Salisu, the Kogi State Commissioner for Youth and Sports; the newly elected Senate President, Comr. Ayo Emmanuel; the Sec. Gen. elect, Comr Iliasu Zakari; the Vice President, Special Duties, Comr. Idris Balogun; NAES President, among others.
Troy, however commended the commissioner for youth and sports, Hon Sanni Ogu Salisu, for his financial support and for taking time out to join them in the distribution of the relief items.
